So...what is a CNAME?
We have a very exciting update to share....we have received our first box of Klipees!
Very exciting times indeed. So my friend that assisted me in building the website and I, are currently trying to do the final "connect up" of our online store - with the domain name and all other sales channels. Silly me. The organisation that I purchased the domain name through is not the easiest to link up. It's asking us about A records and CNAMES. Really? I thought that was a really bad swear word, they want us to type that in? It gave us a good laugh at a time when we really needed it :)
It's so easy to feel overwhelmed when dealing with technology. Right now, my friends are fixing up functionality on my phone, iPad, computer, website, PayPal and everything else that is going to make this online store thing all work for me!
Not long until the website will be live and people will be able to purchase their Klipee's :) I am now having a moment of quiet amusement thinking of all the new things I will be super anxious about in the coming days...
For now though, I will just hang on to the feeling of excitement, camaraderie and the world of CNAMES.

So my day today is starting off with the usual focus of getting kids sorted and to school, finding and holding coffee like its my dearest friend and getting the house in order after another evening of normal family activity.
I never would have thought of myself as a resilient person...until now. Don't get me wrong, I still freak out and react more than I would like to at the hurdles that come my way. I now just kind of expect things to go awry - I know, I can hear my friends saying "stop with the negative thoughts!". I just think of it as managing my own expectations...
I have been sitting with my web designer while she builds my new website. Sometimes I sincerely believe that she is speaking in a different language :) I just keep jumping up asking if I can organise a cup of tea, a snack, lunch...anything that I feel more comfortable in doing.
